La Nina weather conditions produced perfect growing conditions for both the semillon and sauvignon blanc and by leaving them on the vine until late in the season they developed perfect noble botrytis. Natural fermentation by indigenous yeasts in artisan French oak barriques was followed by two years ageing in these. A warm amber hue reflects the ripeness of the grapes and the botrytis. The generous bouquet and flavour suggest lychee, apricot, comb honey, candied orange peel, nougat, and toasted almonds. It is decadently mouth filling and rich but has a sinuous spine of acidity and minerality that draws out the length and provides a perfect balance to the wine's natural lusciousness.
Wine is a natural health food.
